Yvonne Young is a hydrologist with more than 10 years of experience in permitting, land management, and project management relating to groundwater and surface water in Arizona. Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, Yvonne was a Senior Scientist performing highly complex natural resources work in hydrology, erosion control, and landscape monitoring. She was also a geochemist at a Tucson mine; a Senior Hydrologist developing work plans for clients that targeted water management issues; and an Environmental Program Specialist with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, where she implemented monitoring plans for several impaired rivers in Arizona resulting in overall stream health recovery. She has developed water conservation plans, supervised well installations for agricultural clients, and remains verse in Colorado River Basin water management. Yvonne has a practical and detailed knowledge working directly with regulators of the agencies responsible for water regulation in Arizona.
