Telehealth Flexibilities: Reimbursement, Licensing and Credentialing

This presentation discussed the flood of federal and state changes to the telehealth laws in connection with the COVID-19 public health emergency and outline which ones are staying in effect, to the extent known. Sarah and Jon covered the relaxed criteria for telehealth reimbursement by both Medicare and Wisconsin Medicaid. They also outlined the changes in licensing requirements for services provided virtually by providers in another state, and covered the credentialing options and requirements for hospitals receiving services from providers at a distant site.
