Leeann Simpkins is an experienced legal advisor and litigator focusing on commercial and employment matters. She provides preventative advice and counseling to clients on a variety of business and workplace law matters, including commercial contracts, restrictive covenants, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, and a wide range of employment issues. When litigation cannot be avoided, Leeann represents businesses before administrative agencies and federal and state courts in a wide variety of matters involving:

• Advises businesses regarding preparation and enforcement of noncompetition, nonsolicitation and non-disclosure agreements on a nationwide scale, and counsels clients on risks associated with competitive hires and best practices for compliance and litigation avoidance.
• Represents businesses in disputes involving enforcement and defense of employment agreements, restrictive covenants and other commercial contracts.
• Provides preventative advice and counseling to employers on various workplace law matters, including employee handbooks and personnel policies; hiring, discipline and terminations; employment, separation and severance agreements; leave and accommodation issues; and wage and hour compliance.
• Represents employers in litigation matters, often involving allegations of discrimination, harassment or retaliation, as well as in disputes regarding employment agreements, restrictive covenants and trade secrets.
