Business Law Training | Spring Cleaning: Tidying up Immigration Compliance for Employers

Seminar
Office Locations and Webinar
 | 12:00 pm - 01:15 pm Central

With the annual H-1B lottery now past us, this is the perfect time for employers to do some spring cleaning of their Immigration, I-9 and E-Verify compliance files to make sure everything is in order. Please join us for a presentation, conducted by experienced attorneys, to learn about the common issues and compliance pitfalls in this complicated and ever-evolving area of the law. Our seasoned immigration attorneys will provide updates on the latest hot topics in business immigration, review the immigration-related document retention rules, discuss alternatives to the H-1B lottery, and advise on next steps to get ready for incoming graduates with F-1 visas, OPT work authorization, I-983 Training Plans, and FICA exemptions.  This discussion will focus on real-world, practical solutions to help your company follow the rules and avoid fines and liability. Please feel free to bring your most challenging immigration questions, as the presentation will include a robust question and answer session.

Who Should Attend:

This session is designed for in-house counsel, corporate executives, and government industry professionals. Quarles & Brady reserves the right to limit or restrict attendance to the program.
