Joanne Buser and Evan Peña will be presenting at the 2023 CALPELRA Annual Training Conference on November 15. Their presentation titled, "Creating an Inclusive Workforce for LGBTQ Employees," will discuss strategies that enable public employers to become allies of the LGBTQ community. Listeners will learn how to spot issues and develop inclusive policies and protocols to ensure compliance with new legal requirements governing bathroom access, transitioning medical coverage and other accommodations.
