Adam Falkof will be presenting at a TechRise Chicago workshop on April 4. His presentation titled, "Dividing up the Pie: Equity Structures and Frameworks for Early-Stage Startups" will focus on legal issues and options for founders and early stage team members dividing the initial equity of their startup. Topics will include stock grants, stock options and frameworks for how to think through proper ownership percentages among team members. The presentation will also discuss typical problems with equity issuances and strategies to avoid difficulties as a startup begins to scale.
