I Say a Little Prayer for You: Religious Expression and Accommodations in the Workplace

Our country has always celebrated religious freedom. However, the parameters of respecting beliefs in the workplace can be challenging for employers to manage. Understanding employee religious accommodations helps foster a more inclusive workplace. This program will describe real-life cases and provide hypothetical examples concerning religious expression and accommodation requests in the workplace, as well as lessons learned from managing employee expectations.

Continuing Legal Education:

After the program, Quarles will apply for 1.0 hour of general CLE credit in applicable U.S. jurisdictions, excluding Puerto Rico. Quarles certifies that this activity is approved for California Participatory MCLE credit by the State Bar of California for up to 1.0 hour of general credit. Quarles is a State Bar of California MCLE-approved provider.
