Randall Fearnow, Chair of the Quarles & Brady Long Term Care Practice Group, appeared on a panel of experienced long term care attorneys as part of the LeadingAge Indiana/INALA/HOPE Fall Conference. The panel session, entitled Honoring Resident Choice in a Challenging Regulatory Environment, was moderated by long term care nursing expert, Becky Bartle, and examined the 'highly regulatory and increasingly litigious' nursing home and assisted living environment in which consumers are demanding more freedom to enjoy 'medical marijuana, support animals, rare steak, and the extra glass of wine at dinner.
