SECURE Act 2.0—What’s Effective Now and Planning for 2024

 | 12 - 1 p.m. Central

Join the experienced Quarles employee benefits team for a practical webinar discussion regarding the effect of SECURE 2.0 on your employer-sponsored retirement plans.

President Biden signed the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement 2.0 Act of 2022 (SECURE 2.0) into law on December 29, 2022, as part of the year-end omnibus spending bill.

While many provisions will not affect employer retirement plans until 2024 or 2025, the panel will discuss provisions effective now in 2023 that employers may find helpful and other provisions that could be "gotchas." The webinar will also consider best practices employers can take now to plan for provisions effective in 2024 and later.
