Experienced Employee Benefits Attorney Sarah Sise Joins Quarles as Partner

News Release

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Sarah Sise has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Labor, Employment & Benefits Practice Group. Sise, who will work remotely from St. Louis, has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on the highly regulated and ever-changing field of employee benefits.

Most recently a partner with a global law firm, Sise brings deep knowledge on the design and administration of qualified retirement plans, nonqualified arrangements, welfare and fringe benefit plans, and executive compensation programs. She also is skilled at guiding clients through plan audits and service provider changes.

“Coming to Quarles presents me with a great opportunity to further grow my practice and contribute to the ongoing momentum of the firm’s Labor & Employment team,” said Sise. “Quarles' expansion into San Diego and Denver is exciting. I'm looking forward to supporting that growth and the firm's existing offices by adding to the firm's bench strength in the employee benefits and executive compensation space.”

Recognized in 2020 as one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s “Most Influential Business Women,” Sise has been named to Best Lawyers in America (Employee Benefits Law – ERISA) each year since 2008, including being selected “Lawyer of the Year” in the category in 2016. She was a Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity fellow in 2019.

Sise earned her undergraduate degree from Maryville University in St. Louis and her law degree from the University of Illinois.

“Sarah is a highly skilled and respected employee benefits attorney with a reputation for exceptional client service,” said Carolyn McAllister, who leads the Quarles Employee Benefits team. “Adding her to our team further enhances the services we offer to clients regarding their complex employee benefit matters.”
