John Daniels Honored as Legal Industry Trailblazer by Quantum Leadership Foundation
John Daniels, Quarles & Brady chair emeritus, recently was honored by the Quantum Leadership Foundation (QLF) as a trailblazer in the legal industry at a Quantum Recharge event held in celebration of the 100th year of the National Bar Association.
Daniels was one of the first Black chairs of an Am Law 200 firm, leading Quarles from 2007-2013. He is a widely recognized pillar of the community who is an active agent for organizational and civic change and a crusader for access to high-quality education, especially among underserved communities. In addition to myriad honors for his legal leadership, he has been recognized for his entrepreneurialism, his commitment to the pursuit of racial justice and his devotion to education.
QLF recognized John and the other honorees at a July 26 event in Chicago, noting the critical role each played in driving positive change in the legal community.
QLF is a nonprofit organization that supports the development of general counsel and in-house counsel so they can maximize their positions in and contributions to the ever-evolving corporate landscape. The organization seeks to provide in-house lawyers with insights that will help them anticipate areas of growth and new responsibility to create leverage for the benefit of their respective organizations from a business as well as legal perspective.
