(Milwaukee) – Quarles & Brady has been awarded the 2025 Pro Bono Publico award in the firm/organization category by the Milwaukee Bar Association for its extensive work done with Milwaukee’s Kinship Community Food Center.
The Pro Bono Publico award recognizes firms and organizations — across several categories, including individual attorney, law firm, organization, business or association and law student — for outstanding pro bono service and a commitment to working “for the public good.”
Kinship Community Food Center in Milwaukee works to address food insecurity, foster community engagement and belonging, and create economic opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness and addiction. Its initiatives include an urban farm, a workforce development program, and a crisis assistance and mentoring team.
A team of Quarles attorneys and paralegals has supported Kinship through pro bono legal services, providing guidance on corporate matters, trademark and rebranding, real estate and more.
