Allison Bickford concentrates on trademark and copyright law. She advises clients across a wide range of industries on the full lifecycle of their intellectual property (IP) assets, from brand inception through global enforcement. A significant portion of her practice is devoted to trademark counseling and portfolio management. She regularly guides clients through:

• The trademark clearance and selection process, helping them identify and adopt strong, protectable marks.
• All aspects of domestic and international trademark prosecution, including filing and maintaining registrations across numerous jurisdictions worldwide.
• Development and implementation of comprehensive global enforcement strategies to protect her clients' brands against infringement, dilution and unauthorized use.

Allison also has extensive experience representing clients in federal court litigation and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), including oppositions and cancellations. She is well versed in the procedural and substantive complexities of TTAB practice as well as trademark litigation and has successfully guided clients through high-stakes disputes.

Allison assists clients in securing copyright registrations and enforces their rights against infringers through litigation and other enforcement mechanisms. She also defends against copyright infringement claims brought by third parties and has extensive experience filing Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices to address online infringement.
