Guidance across a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters
Andrew Chan advises employers on an array of labor and employment matters. He provides guidance on compliance with state and federal laws, including overtime pay, discrimination and retaliation, and noncompete agreements.
Prior to joining Quarles, Andrew was a law clerk at the Office of the District Attorney, Riverside County, where he conducted legal research and wrote memoranda and motions for substantive criminal law issues, including misdemeanor and felony charges.
Experience in Action
- Advises on class and representative actions, including claims involving meal and rest periods, overtime, wage statements, reimbursement and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) penalties.
- Handles discovery in complex employment matters, including drafting and responding to written discovery and supporting discovery motions.
