Dan Young counsels established and entrepreneurial companies on all aspects of business law with the objective of helping them achieve and sustain strategic growth. He is a trusted business advisor on legal matters that include mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and post-acquisition integration; shareholder, boards of directors and governance matters; e-commerce and licensing; contract structure and negotiations; and private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) funding. His clients cover a variety of sectors, including:

Dan previously served as in-house general counsel for an online marketing and technology company, U.S. counsel for a Toronto-based technology company and in-house counsel for a major U.S.-based airline. Prior to and during law school, he worked as a research analyst for a Wall Street brokerage firm in New York and as a research assistant for the Minnesota State Auditor's Office focusing on municipal bond financing.
