About Emma
Technical, creative patent assistance for mechanical applications
Emma Higgason leverages her technical, organizational and creative skills to assist with the preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications for manufacturing clients. Her background is in the field of mechanical engineering.
Before joining Quarles, Emma worked at a tool and outdoor power equipment manufacturer as a mechanical design engineer. In this role, she led material, ergonomic and geometry optimizations, applied finite element modeling to simulate tool shock under impact and designed durability test fixtures to accelerate tool life experiments.
