Eric Van Schyndle advises clients on a variety of litigation, compliance and transactional matters. Bringing extensive experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), he counsels clients on:

A vigorous advocate when litigation is necessary, Eric seeks to resolve disputes, when possible, without recourse to the courts. As to bid protest disputes, Eric understands the exigent nature of these disputes, and he has the experience and resources to devote to addressing your matter.

Before becoming a lawyer, Eric worked for the U.S. House of Representatives Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, where he took part in drafting and implementing SAFETEA-LU.

Experience in Action

  • Advising clients on compliance with federal procurement requirements both from a transactional and litigation context, including compliance with the FAR, DFARS and GSA Schedule requirements.
  • Representing private companies in prosecuting and defending bid protests and other disputes, including land use, collections, fraudulent transfers and contract breaches.
  • Representing governmental entities in administering bid protests.
  • Representing owners and contractors in construction defect disputes.
  • Counseling on real estate disputes, including riparian rights determinations.
  • Handling lien and bond claims, including under the Miller Act and Little Miller Acts.
  • Advising on Chapter 128 receivership proceedings.
