Deep, diverse public finance, corporate and commercial law experience

Frank DeGuire Jr. leverages his in-house and law firm experience to help clients with public finance, corporate and commercial law issues. He serves as bond counsel and disclosure counsel on a wide variety of tax-exempt and taxable financings. Using his experience as a former general counsel, Frank also advises corporate clients on their finance and commercial law issues. His clients represent a variety of sectors, including:

  • State and local governments
  • Manufacturing
  • Privately held companies
  • Family-owned businesses

Frank strives to build a strong relationship with his clients, enabling him to become a trusted partner and confidant who can help them achieve their business objectives. He makes life easier for his clients by making it easier to understand and make decisions about complex legal issues.

A U.S. Navy veteran, Frank’s past in-house roles included serving as vice president and general counsel at a Wisconsin-based, closely held, family-owned corporation, where he provided legal and strategic advice to the CEO and the presidents of the operating divisions. He led all acquisitions, strategic investments and joint venture transactions for the company. He also was primary in-house counsel for a $1 billion-plus/year HVAC operation at a Fortune Global 500 industrial manufacturing company, assisting with the creation of and investment in a $500 million/year joint venture with a privately held HVAC distributor.
