About Jack

Strategic, creative counsel for commercial litigation

Jack Contrera focuses on complex commercial litigation and regulatory disputes, with particular emphasis on alcohol beverage law and supplier–distributor relations, class action defense, real estate and HOA disputes, and general corporate litigation. He regularly represents clients in the alcohol beverage space, including in matters involving:

  • Tied-house issues
  • Franchise and supplier-distributor relationship disputes
  • Liquor-code compliance
  • State regulatory proceedings

Jack also has experience defending class actions, with a particular focus on TCPA matters. In addition, Jack handles real estate and homeowner association-related matters, including disputes involving Arizona’s planned-community statutes, in both administrative proceedings and Superior Court litigation. His broader practice includes contract disputes, discovery and ESI issues and appellate briefing.

Prior to joining Quarles, Jack was an International Arbitration legal assistant, with a specific focus on Latin American investment disputes.
