Joanne Buser and Corrie Klekowski will be presenting at the CALPELRA 2025 conference on November 20. Their presentation titled, "A Beautiful Mind: Unconscious Bias and Neurodivergence," will cover issues related to unconscious bias in the workplace as well as strategies for minimizing the impact of implicit bias, particularly with respect to employees who exhibit neurodivergent traits. They will also discuss the common areas where unconscious bias impacts the workplace, including compensation, performance evaluations and professional development.
