Thomas Cameron and Amy Harriman will be presenting at the 2024 Municipal Attorneys Institute, League of Wisconsin Municipalities on June 13. Their presentation titled, "There’s No Place Like Home: A Discussion of Housing, Workforce Housing, Affordable Housing, and the Tools Available to Wisconsin Municipalities to Encourage the Development of Housing," will provide definitions for terms such as “workforce housing” and “affordable housing” and discuss the tools available to local governments to encourage, incentivize or pay for affordable and workforce housing projects. They will also discuss some of the potentially tempting solutions to the housing challenge which are, for one reason or another, not permitted under current law.
