Amy Harriman counsels individuals, organizations and institutions on real estate, corporate and financial transactions, as well as aspects of their business and ventures. Whether it involves complex acquisitions and financing, dispositions, leasing, land banking, corporate structuring  or other general real estate matters — Amy is ready with her depth of knowledge. She focuses on:

Along with a strong background in real estate and business, Amy has experience as a lobbyist. Prior to becoming an attorney, she was a lobbyist for general contractors and labor, and she continues to assist clients with government affairs and lobbying matters.

Experience in Action

  • Representing companies and developers in build-to-suit and ground lease real estate projects.
  • Representing companies and non-profits with the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties.
  • Representing municipalities and developers in zoning matters, entitlements and governmental incentives, including tax increment financing, state job tax credits, sales tax exemptions and low-income housing tax credits.
  • Representing landlords and tenants across the country, including general office, medical, laboratory, industrial leases and ground leases.

Successes

  • Represented a client in the acquisition, annexation, rezoning and entitlement of more than 800 acres for the construction of a large data center in Wisconsin. 
  • Represented a developer from negotiation through closing in acquisition and assemblage of numerous parcels from multiple sellers and facilitated a simultaneous closing of the sale.
  • Represented a company in the car wash industry with a strategic asset sale including the sale of 21 commercial properties across the county.
  • Represented a medical research company with a portfolio of leasing transactions with up to 500,000 square feet of laboratory, office and manufacturing space across the country.
  • Assisting a large family-owned company on the site acquisition of a historic Wisconsin Hotel & Inn.
