Chicago Partner Susan Matejcak Named to American College of Real Estate Lawyers Fellow Class of 2021

Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Susan Matejcak, a partner in the firm's Chicago office, has been named to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers ("ACREL") Fellow Class of 2021.

ACREL is an organization comprised of nationally known lawyers who have been elected for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process.

Matejcak is the Illinois chair of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. She represents institutional investors and corporate real estate clients in complex real estate transactions involving the acquisition, disposition and development of a wide range of commercial properties. Matejcak has experience in drafting and negotiating leases, on behalf of both landlords and tenants, for office, retail and industrial properties.

She is a current member of the board of directors and Immediate Past President of Commercial Real Estate Executive Women of Chicago (CREW Chicago). Matejcak received a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Illinois University and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
