Justin DeAngelis Appointed Vice Chair of AIPLA’s Industrial Designs Committee

Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Intellectual Property attorney Justin DeAngelis has been appointed vice chair of the Industrial Designs Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA.)

The Industrial Designs Committee monitors design patent, trade dress and copyright laws, rules, regulations and judicial decisions applicable to the protection of industrial designs. The committee also monitors new legislation pertaining to the protection of industrial designs, advances ways to strengthen the predictability and enforceability of industrial design rights, and reports recommendations to the AIPLA board of directors.

An active member of intellectual property organizations, DeAngelis is the current chair of AIPLA's Prosecution & Practice Subcommittee of the Industrial Design Committee and immediate past co-chair of the Young Members’ Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago.
