Melissa McCord Elected to Board of Directors of the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Melissa McCord, a partner in the firm's Banking & Financial Institutions, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee.

The Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee is a community foundation that works to grow its endowment to ensure the community always has available resources to strategically support initiatives to advance equity for women and girls.

McCord is a finance attorney who represents both lenders and borrowers in complex commercial finance transactions. She has extensive experience with secured transactions, syndicated facilities, asset-based facilities, mezzanine debt, international financing, asset securitizations, interest rate swap documentation, and third-party legal opinions. She received her law degree, summa cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.

Along with the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee, McCord is a Courthouse Clinic Pro Bono Volunteer with Sojourner Family Peace Center, a member of the Board of Directors of Our Next Generation and a member of TEMPO Milwaukee Emerging Women Leaders Program.
