Partner Lindsey Davis Elected Board Chair of YWCA Southeast Wisconsin for 2021

Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Lindsey Davis, a partner in the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group, has been elected as the new YWCA Southeast Wisconsin (YWCA SEW) board chair for 2021.

The YWCA SEW is part of YWCA USA – a network of one of the nation’s oldest and most formidable organizations that stands up for the dignity of women and others who are often discounted. The YWCA SEW has programs and services that serve both individuals and communities to build a world of peace, justice, freedom and dignity, from advancing resources for women and their families to eliminating barriers that perpetuate racial injustice. Davis has been a board member since 2015.

Davis' legal practice covers a broad range of issues involving counseling, discipline, and discharge of employees, as well as state and federal employment discrimination law. She has extensive experience in disability law and family medical leave. Additionally, Davis helps higher education institutions navigate compliance with various federal and state laws and assists them with internal investigations, policy reviews, and preventative strategies and defends discrimination claims. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from University of Wisconsin - Madison and a Juris Doctor from William and Mary School of Law.
