MCCA describes its annual “Rising Stars” list as recognizing “stellar attorneys whose accomplishments and dedication to the legal profession and to their community place them among those ‘attorneys to watch.’ … (T)hey all possess the love of law, ambition and pursuit of excellence while possessing compassion for those in need and a strong desire to give back to others.”

In his nomination of Meza for this recognition, Cornell Boggs, of counsel and senior strategic advisor at Quarles, wrote: “He has become an especially effective leader because people quickly see that he treats everyone with respect, truly cares about others, is open to their ideas and input, and will have their back when things get challenging.
