Quarles & Brady Adds Immigration Attorney Liya Green in Washington, D.C., Office as Senior Counsel

Washington, D.C. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Liya Green has joined the firm's Washington, D.C., office as senior counsel. She was previously at an international law firm.

Green is a member of the Labor & Employment Group's Immigration team and advises clients on issues arising from the hiring, transfer and permanent sponsorship of foreign-national employees. She represents clients in the technology, health, energy and academic sectors before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Labor, the Department of State and state health agencies.

Before becoming an attorney, Green was an immigration paralegal and her experience gives her a depth of knowledge that adds value for her clients. She provides pro bono assistance to individual clients filing naturalization and green card applications. Green holds a Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.
