Quarles Chair Emeritus John Daniels Selected as One of Top 40 Newsmakers of Past 40 Years by Milwaukee Business Journal

John Daniels Jr., Quarles & Brady chair emeritus, has been named by the Milwaukee Business Journal as one of southeast Wisconsin’s top 40 newsmakers of the past 40 years. The publication is recognizing these leaders as it prepares to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

In honoring Daniels, the Milwaukee Business Journal noted:

“John Daniels Jr. continues as one of the most active and well-respected Milwaukee-area executives when it comes to community involvement and raising money for nonprofits. He has been chairman of Aurora Health, the Greater Milwaukee Committee and the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. Daniels and his prominent family lead MKE Fellows, an initiative offering support to academically talented African American young men in Wisconsin to ensure they graduate from college prepared for career success. His work also resonates outside of Milwaukee and includes the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda national summit he helped lead in Atlanta in 2022.”
