Quarles Phoenix Team Adds Respected Public Finance and Real Estate Attorney Monika Calamita as Partner
May 1, 2025 (Phoenix) -- The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Monika Calamita, a highly respected attorney who focuses on all stages of public finance and real estate finance, has joined the firm’s Phoenix office as a partner in its Real Estate Practice Group.
With public finance projects, Calamita advises on new money and refunding financings, multistate and multicampus financings, direct loan financing, publicly and privately offered financings, government financings and lease transaction financings. In the real estate finance industry, she handles both traditional and non-traditional financings as lender’s counsel and borrower’s counsel.

Calamita, who received her B.S. from Arizona State University and her J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, was recognized as a Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” (Government Finance) in 2022 and 2023 and by The Bond Buyer as a “Municipal Finance Rising Star” in 2021.
