Rebecca Wilt Appointed to Florida Bar Standing Committee on Unlicensed Practice of Law

News Release

July 12, 2023 (Tampa)— Rebecca Wilt, a Litigation & Dispute Resolution paralegal in Quarles & Brady’s Tampa office, has been appointed to the Florida Bar Standing Committee on Unlicensed Practice of Law.

The Standing Committee on Unlicensed Practice of Law investigates and prosecutes allegations of unlicensed practice of law. The committee also has the authority to issue proposed formal advisory opinions on whether specific conduct constitutes the unlicensed practice of law. The proposed opinions are filed with the Supreme Court of Florida.

Wilt is a member of several legal organizations, including the National Association of Legal Assistants - Paralegal Association, Tampa Bay Paralegal Association Inc., Florida Bar Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “F” and Florida Bar Local 6Z District Florida Registered Paralegal Committee.
