  • Advised a Fortune 100 company on the approximately $290 million redevelopment of its corporate headquarters, including land acquisition, construction financing, development and leasing matters.
  • Negotiated and drafted hundreds of office, retail and industrial leases on behalf of landlords and tenants, including complex build-to-suit arrangements.
  • Represented a healthcare client in the acquisition and development of a multibuilding campus exceeding 1 million square feet.
  • Represented the buyer in the acquisition of a vegetable oil refinery and rail expansion project in New Orleans, including negotiation of complex ground lease arrangements.
  • Represented the buyer of a coal-fired power plant in a transaction involving the assumption and transfer of significant environmental liabilities through negotiated insurance, indemnity and escrow structures.
  • Served as real estate counsel in the acquisition of mining operations and related real estate in southwest Missouri, including negotiation of easements, mineral leases, title and survey review, and acquisition documentation involving approximately 1,880 acres of owned and leased property.
