Michele Washington, Ph.D., is a registered patent attorney who prepares and prosecutes patent applications and assists clients on strategic U.S. and international patent portfolio development. Michele’s technical experience is in the field of molecular and cellular biology. Her graduate thesis was directed to studying key players and mutations in the vitamin D receptor signaling pathway that impact prostate cancer cell growth, and her postdoctoral research focused on the effects of autophagy on chemotherapeutic drug efficacy in ovarian cancer models.
