9–10 a.m. — Refinancings for Maturing Loans in a Tight Credit Market
Presented by: Jason Wood, Phoenix Office Managing Partner and Amanda Morton, partner
This session will provide an overview of current economic trends impacting the commercial real estate market in general, as well as by product type more specifically. We will also cover negotiating tips and points of leverage in the current lending environment for maturing real estate loans and refinancings.

10:05–11:05 a.m. Ethics: Cyber Incidents and Their Ethical Implications
Presented by: Heather Buchta, partner and Meghan O’Connor, partner
We all deal with ethical issues every day, but the realm of cybersecurity incidents can present those issues in slightly varied and unique settings. This discussion will cover ethical issues as they most often arise in the context of cybersecurity incidents and their fallout.

11:10 a.m.–12:10 p.m. — Building Contracts to Navigate Future Litigation
Presented by: Lauren Stine, partner and Coree Neumeyer, partner
The presentation will cover contractual provisions that may play a key role in the event of future litigation, including dispute resolution provisions, governing law, remedies, and termination provisions. We will also discuss liability limiting provisions that should be given meaningful consideration and common pitfalls to avoid.
