Please join Quarles for our annual year-end Legal Ethics Seminar, featuring three one-hour ethics CLE presentations. The program will be presented live from Quarles' Milwaukee office, with in-person simulcasts available in our Indianapolis and Madison offices.

Attendees may choose the format that works best for their schedule: attend in person on November 6 or participate virtually through one of three CLE-eligible webinar replays on December 9, December 18, or January 15.

2026 Ethics Panels:

This year’s program will explore practical ethics considerations across negotiation, employment, and litigation, with takeaways attorneys can apply in their day-to-day practice.

  • Real Deals: A Practical Approach to Ethical Challenges and Traps in Negotiation and Drafting
    Presented by Kate Duncan, Bernard Kearney, and Courtney Lynch
  • Ethical Issues in Labor and Employment
    Presented by Joanne Buser, Brian Hartstein, and Steve Kruzel
  • Don’t Trust, Verify! Litigation Ethics in the Age of AI
    Presented by Mark Bina, Jake Bradley, and Lauren Stine

Continuing Legal Education (CLE):

After the event, Quarles will apply for up to 3.0 hours in 60-minute states/3.5 hours in 50-minute states of ethics continuing legal education credit in U.S. jurisdictions where applicable, excluding Puerto Rico. Quarles certifies that this activity has been approved for California Participatory MCLE credits by the State Bar of California in the amount of 3.0 ethics credits.

CLE for In-Person Attendees:

Participants seeking CLE credit for attending the in-person seminar in Milwaukee or an in-person simulcast in Indianapolis or Madison on Friday, November 6, 2026, must complete this two-step CLE process:

(1) Complete the CLE Attendance Verification form and return it to Quarles after the event.
(2) Within 3–⁠5 business days, complete the personalized CLE affidavit sent from MCLE‑Quarles@americanbar.org to receive your Certificate of Attendance.

Please complete one affidavit for the full event. After completing the affidavit, you will be able to download your certificate(s), which will also be emailed to you from MCLE‑Quarles@americanbar.org. Please check your spam or junk folders if you do not receive the affidavit.

Anticipated CLE Processing Time:

Depending on the jurisdiction, course approval processing is estimated to take between 2–⁠16 weeks.
