Xheneta Ademi guides clients through all phases of trademark and copyright protection, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, settlement and litigation. She also handles appeals, oppositions and cancellations at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).

Xheneta works with a variety of clients in the consumer products, video gaming, healthcare technology, medical device and franchise industries to ensure optimal protection of their intellectual property assets.

Clients value her expertise and knowledge and experience at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where she examined thousands of applications and contributed to key initiatives within the Trademark Innovation Lab and the Office of the Commissioner for Trademarks. Her work included addressing digitally altered specimens, reviewing special filings, and briefing the examination corps on TTAB caselaw developments. She also represented the USPTO in TTAB appeals and served on the agency’s trademark appeals moot court panel.

  • Protects the commercial interests, goodwill and reputation of businesses against unfair competition practices, including false and misleading advertising.
  • Investigates online trademark and copyright infringement and files take-down notices.
