Sara Scullen is an experienced litigator who represents a wide range of product manufacturers—including those who manufacture large industrial equipment, medical devices, alcoholic beverages, and motor vehicles—in product liability, premise liability, and personal injury matters. She provides straightforward and cost-effective counsel and defense strategies for clients facing product defect and negligence claims, in addition to matters involving product recalls, lemon laws, and toxic exposure claims.
In addition to her product liability practice, Sara also represents clients in complex litigation matters, specifically in the construction industry.
Sara is committed to the firm's pro bono efforts and giving back to the community. She volunteers her time helping with a domestic abuse hotline, pursuing injunctions for victims of violence and working to gain special immigration status for children in Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, Sara spent over 20 years in the public sector where she served as Assistant District Attorney in the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, as well as Court Commissioner in Waukesha Country Circuit Court. In these roles she gained invaluable experience both trying and presiding over cases, as well advising and training members of the judiciary.
