Xheneta Ademi focuses her practice on trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Xheneta worked for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in a number of roles. As a USPTO attorney, Xheneta gained extensive prosecution experience through her examination of thousands of trademark applications in a variety of industries, including consumer products, heavy machinery, robotics, financial services, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and software. She also participated in the USPTO's initiative to combat digitally-altered specimens and special review of Chinese filings.
Additionally, Xheneta is experienced in drafting appeal briefs and conducting oral arguments for Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) litigation, as well as in training others by serving in moot court panels and editing appeal briefs. While at the USPTO, Xheneta was selected for the Trademark Innovation Lab where she served as a subject-matter expert in the special examination of applications related to COVID-19 and worked with various trademark departments, including the Office of the Commissioner for Trademarks in preparation of leadership for interviews and public appearances.
