Jon Howard and Melissa McCord Named National Vice Chairs of Firm's Business Law Practice Group

Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that partners Jon Howard and Melissa McCord have been named national vice chairs of the firm’s Business Law Practice Group.

Howard and McCord will complement Will Schultz, who has been chair of the Business Law group since 2020. Additionally, Howard will remain the Phoenix office chair for the group and McCord will continue as the group’s Milwaukee office chair.

Howard serves on the executive committee and board of directors, and is a former chairman, of WESTMARC, a non-profit organization that aims to address important economic issues facing the West Valley of the Greater Phoenix region. He recently was included on Phoenix Business Journal's "40 Under 40" and has been named to Southwest Super Lawyers - Rising Stars since 2018.

McCord serves on the board of directors for the Women's Fund of Greater Milwaukee, Marquette University Law School Alumni Association, Milwaukee Bar Association Foundation and Our Next Generation. She is a courthouse clinic pro bono volunteer for Sojourner Family Peace Center, the largest provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin. McCord has been listed in Chambers USA in the Banking & Finance category since 2020.
