Biography

Lucy Dollens concentrates her practice in complex commercial litigation, representing both large and small businesses and corporations. Lucy helps her clients aggressively handle contractual disputes prior to and throughout the course of litigation, while working to ensure they meet their business objectives and minimize risk where possible. She advises clients in matters involving supply chain and warranty issues, business torts, construction disputes, distribution and dealership issues, alleged false claims acts violations, and has extensive experience litigating disputes over restrictive covenants and trade secrets.

Lucy works with clients in the manufacturing, medical device, higher education, technology and real estate industries, among others. Lucy also has extensive experience representing financial institutions, servicers, trusts, consumer finance companies, landlords and corporate tenants in commercial and consumer matters, including commercial leasing disputes. Her practice extends to federal and state trial and appellate courts, bankruptcy courts, proceedings involving governmental agencies and regulators, and class action matters.

In the appellate arena, Lucy represents individuals and corporate clients in both state and federal appellate courts in a range of legal issues including commercial litigation, labor and employment disputes, products liability cases, premises liability matters, and administrative and licensing issues. She also represents amicus curiae parties in cases involving significant issues before Indiana’s Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and pro bono clients (through court appointment) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
