Nicholas H. Meza, Associate


Nick Meza's practice includes assisting retail, specialty, and long-term care pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers, HUBs, and wholesale drug distributors with regulatory and transactional matters. He has been assisting clients affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with monitoring public health emergency declarations, and Board of Pharmacy and regulatory agency responses to the coronavirus pandemic, and advising on their impact on his clients and the industry.

Nick also advises health care providers, physician and practice management groups, and health care software developers with a variety of issues, including:

  • General federal and state regulatory compliance
  • Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law
  • Telemedicine/Telehealth and Telepharmacy
  • In-office Dispensing
  • Defending against and responding to regulatory complaints and investigations
  • HIPAA privacy and security rules

Prior to joining the firm, Nick practiced general civil defense. He served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable David K. Duncan in the United States District Court, District of Arizona, and was a legal intern at PetSmart Inc. and the Arizona State University Office of General Counsel.
