General labor and employment guidance
Rucha Shastri advises employers across a broad spectrum of workplace issues in a variety of fields. Rucha’s practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex and sensitive matters involving:
- Allegations of harassment and discrimination.
- Disability accommodations and compliance under the ADA.
- Workforce management challenges that arise in day‑to‑day operations.
Rucha regularly advises employers on responding to and mitigating risk related to internal complaints, personnel decisions, and evolving federal and state employment laws. She also represents clients before administrative agencies, including defending unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board and guiding employers through agency investigations.
In addition to her advisory and defense work, Rucha has experience mediating matters before the Illinois Department of Human Rights, where she worked to achieve an efficient and practical resolution aligned with the client’s business goals.
